How long does it take to customize? If you have gathered all the materials listed on our Getting Started page, your site should take approximately one hour to customize.
Once I have finished entering all of my content, when does my GetFit site go "live"?All customized versions of GetFit go through a quality assurance process to prevent any errors from appearing. This process can take between one and two weeks, depending on volume.

I am having problems printing a page from the My Workplace site(http://www.myworkplace.atgetfit.net). What am I doing wrong? When printing from a page in the My Workplace section that contains the rich text box, please move the cursor out of the text box before printing. This should ensure that page prints correctly and in its entirety. However, if you want to only print the contents that are inside of the box, leave the cursor inside the box.
I have forgotten my password. What should I do?To receive a new username or password, please request a new password by completing the form located Here: http://www.myworkplace.atgetfit.net/PasswordRequest.aspx.
I want to customize my site, but I am afraid I don’t have enough technical expertise to do this. What should I do?GetFit.SAMHSA.Gov contains several tools to help make this process as easy as possible for businesses to implement. For instance, when using the My Workplace customization tool, the majority of the places you enter information provide step-by-step guidelines in easy-to-understand terms so that you do not need any Web development expertise to post your company’s information. Furthermore, customer support is available via email (webmaster@atgetfit.net) to contact for any questions, and they will be sure to respond within one business day.
I don’t have much time to do this. What should I do?Since GetFit.SAMHSA.Gov provides a step-by-step process and easy online tools that allow you to simply input your information (through copying and pasting), find someone in your organization that has time available to input the information, such as an intern. Or, contact your human resources manager, communications/public relations/marketing/sales departments, and/or labor union representatives, and ask them if they have any materials they can send you to help with the process. Finally, check your company Web site – there may be materials already available on your Web site’s “About Us” section that you can copy and paste into your customized GetFit site.
My organization already has an Intranet with resources, benefits, health insurance, and policies information in place that employees use. Why should I use GetFit’s tool also?If you already have an internal site developed for employees that address health concerns and policies, then GetFit can supplement your already-existing site. Your internal site could be linked to GetFit’s main public site (http://www.getfit.samhsa.gov), which offers informative, research-based facts about physical health, mental health, drugs and alcohol as well as tips for prevention, intervention, and treatment of relevant problems. Instead of customizing your own GetFit site, you can link to the main GetFit site so employees can find information directly from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), an Agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. When employees look up a policy or health benefit on your internal site, they can then link to GetFit.SAMHSA.Gov for general information about health, wellness, and safety in the workplace.
